Jacqueline Van Bierk
Jacqueline Van Bierk is an Artist/Singer/Songwriter/Composer/Producer from Germany currently residing in Los Angeles. She grew up listening to dance, techno, industrial, new wave and metal, studied voice, and learned her writing and production skills through the generosity of collaborators who recognized her talents and mentored her along the way (referring to her as ‘the female Trent Reznor’).
Jacquline’s music can be heard on many TV shows including Bates Motel, Hemlock Grove, Blue Mountain State, Oprah, Nate Berkus, Dr.Oz, promos for Vampire Diaries, Melrose Place and Gossip Girl.
With her band, Otto’s Daughter, Jacqueline wrote, produced, and released 4 full length albums and 2 EP’s, touring throughout the US several times. Her band’s music is described as “A righteous slab of cyber erotic pop metal”
More recently Jacqueline released her first solo EP “Through The Darkness” and an EDM side project under the name Ravr Eva.
Her favorite style is drone, drama, horror as well as 80’s synth pop. Her manta is to “keep it simple, interesting and most importantly authentic and never stop learning and growing”.
Jacqueline’s music is best described as melodic, dark, edgy, ambient and electronic with vocals that are sultry, sensual and powerful, and at times shrilling, yet exquisitely paired to achieve her unique sound.
