Jackie Andresen

Jackie Andresen is a composer and violinist from Los Angeles, California.

She attended the Los Angeles County High School for the Arts while studying under violinist Dorthy Kwon at the Pasadena Conservatory of Music, gradually delving into composition, both in concert and film. Graduating in 2019, she now attends New York University's Steinhardt School of Music, majoring in Music Theory and Composition with a concentration in Screen Scoring under composer and conductor Alba S. Torremocha.

She has written music for corporate clients such as Canon, as well as filmmakers and visual artists, her work premiering at student film festivals throughout the United States. In the summer of 2020, she completed a mentorship under film composer Michael A. Levine.
