Mandy Hoffman

Guided by her passion of storytelling and visual art, Mandy Hoffman’s scores can be heard in countless feature films, TV series, commercials and art installations appearing in theaters, networks, film festivals, and galleries all over the world. She is known for her broad stylistic range, unique voice, and thoughtfully nuanced scores that closely support both story and vision.
 

She recently scored feature films for A24 (The Lovers) and Will Smith and Jada Pinkett-Smith’s Overbrook Entertainment (Hala). highlights include scores for Jill Soloway’s Amazon Studios series I Love Dick, and the HBO/SKY multi-season comedy Doll & Em. Her score to The Lovers received ample praise from top film critics. 
 

Hoffman won multiple awards at Pasadena City College’s immersive music program and went on to be certified at UCLA Extension’s Film Scoring program. In 2018, she was invited to become a member of The Academy of Motion Pictures Arts and Sciences. As an active member of the composing and filmmaking communities, Mandy appears on panels and leads workshops at film festivals, universities, and other academic institutions. She currently resides in Brooklyn, NY.
